About Kara

Kara is 21 years old and was born and raised in Miramar, Florida. Which is a growing suburban city located north of Miami. Kara grew up surrounded by music in church, at school, and at home. Kara has dreamed of being a musician since early childhood when she heard some of her inspirations for the first time, inspirations such as Whitney Houston, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Beyonce, Jenneifer Hudson, Ariana Grande, Sinead Harnett, and many others. Kara dreams of performing on Broadway, releasing several studio albums, touring the world, and being a household name like many of the greats. Kara plans to change the world one song at a time. 

Kara officially began singing around 8 years old when she first join the church choir. When she began middle school Kara decided to also joined the choir there and stayed in it all 3 years of middle school. She also joined her middle school on a trip to perform at Walt Disney World. Kara then went on to join the choir in high school before deciding not to continue to pursue it. While she was a part of the choir in both middle and high school she also joined the Tri-M Honors Society. While it may seem like Kara lost her passion for music after she left her high school choir, she became passionate again and decided to join the Gospel choir at the university she attended. 

While she has mostly dreamed of being a singer Kara has quite a few acting credits under her belt. Starting at the age of just 8 years old Kara began acting at church participating in the Christmas Plays. She then went on to join Her high school Thespian Troupe and even participated at the Districts Competition, earning an overall Superior Award for her acting duet performance.
